I just don't understand the nuances of US politics enough to know if Harris will be seen as too left wing / Californian to attract the disaffected centrist Republicans. And will Robert F. Kennedy Jr stay in the race (so far yes) and potentially take crucial votes from Harris?
Many thanks David. I suspect the left-wing accusation can and will be successfully countered, but more work will have to be done on the image of weakness. She'll need to really fire up the image of her as a tough prosecutor (which also counters the "liberal" accusation). It was always unclear whether RFK would take more votes from Biden or from Trump, and its too soon to judge yet on the Harris-Trump choice as well.
