THE TRUMPOLIN

unfortunately this was all predictable. Once he owned the media he could not be stopped.

It is worthwhile to research his German ancestry (Friedrich (or Frederic) Trump, who emigrated and invested in US brothels.

Very good analysis. A question I have not seen discussed so far is where America alone’ leave its allies (if one can still use the word), specifically, when it comes to the ‘nuclear umbrella’ and the ‘nuclear sharing’ policy. I have the impression that the allies are desperate to pretend that nothing has changed, but I wonder how long can one maintain this ostrichlike position. In this connection, the escalating cost of NATO ‘membership fee’ make one wonder whether a nuclear deterrent, eg based on nuclear sharing with France, could not eventually make more sense.

Excellent analysis. For the U.K. the question is whether it is time to break the national addiction to American money. Brexit makes this almost impossible. Yet the prospect of Musk is so very unappetising, it may happen.
